Scientists at the Raman Research Institute in Bengaluru have discovered a new method to make the processing of food and personal care products like chocolates, chutneys, lotions, creams more pure and efficient. In the food processing industries, more viscous liquids are usually displaced by less viscous liquids, during the process of passing liquids through pipelines. The flow of matter becomes easier when different liquids mix in the pipelines, but that also means that the substances get impure.
