Sugarcane Juice Preservation Technology (E)

During the hot and humid summer months, there is hardly any drink more refreshing than Sugarcane juice…However, after its extraction, the juice quickly loses its flavour and colour due to some biological processes….thus, making it unsuitable for long-term storage and marketing. Now, to solve this problem, IIT Kharagpur has developed a new process technology to increase the shelf-life of the sugarcane juice without compromising on its colour and refreshing flavour.
