Aroma Mission: Aroma Industry of India (E)
The world’s aroma industry is worth billions of dollars. But due to the lack of supply of essential oils industries have started using synthetic chemicals. The world essential oil industry is dominated by the French city Grasse, whereas the city of Kanauj in UP is the perfume capital of India. There are more than 200 perfume industry and more than 80% of the population is directly or indirectly associated with the industry. Providing quality raw materials to these industries is a challenging task for the aroma mission.
