New Wheat Variety (E)
Scientists at Agharkar Research Institute (ARI), an autonomous institute of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, havedeveloped a wheat variety with significantly high yield. The variety called MACS 6478 has doubled the crop yield for farmers belonging to Karanjkhop, a village in Maharashtra.
