Energy is the basic parameter that defines the quality of life. To meet the increasing demand for fuels we have to look for alternative renewable sources. The project Bio urja focuses on developing indigenous technology for the production of aviation-grade biofuels from deoxygenated vegetable oils. The scientists from CSIR-IIP are playing a lead role in the project.
