CSIR-IIP Develops Biojet-Fuel (E)
CSIR's Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, has been working towards providing environment friendly solutions to the country through its technological development programs. An important part of this is the development of bio fuels. After an extended period of research, the scientists of the institute have now developed an innovative technology to make bio jet fuel. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh recently inaugurated a plant based on this technology.
