Smart nanoparticles- for colorectal Cancer (E)
Recently, Researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Medical School have developed natural polymer-based smart nanoparticles. These particles release the drug in response to stimuli that are specific to the cancer sites only. The results of this research is funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board or SERB, a statutory body of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, which is published in the journal Carbohydrate Polymers.
