According to a recent study, scientists have observed the gravitational waves generated by the collision of a black hole and a neutron star.. The signals from the first-ever observed hybrid collision that happened hundreds of millions of light years ago, have been detected in the US and Europe. The study has been published in journal ‘The Astrophysical Journal Letters’.
