Dr. N Kalaiselvi, DG, CSIR (E)
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the premier scientific organisation in the country appointed its first woman Director General. Dr. N Kalaiselvi took charge of CSIR recently whereas she was Director of south-based CECRI at Karaikudi. Dr. Kalaiselvi having over 25 years of research experience will hold the post for two years.
