Professor Venugopal Achanta – CIPM (E)
Professor Venugopal Achanta, Director, CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, has been elected as a member of the prestigious International Committee of Weights and Measures (CIPM). It is the apex international committee that observes the development and implementation of weights and measures, globally. Prof. Venugopal is one of the 18 members from all over the world and the 7th Indian to join the committee.
