Professor Ashutosh Sharma Completed His Term As Secretary, DST (E)
Professor Ashutosh Sharma completed his term as Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India, on August 31st , and was given a farewell. In his address, the DST Secretary stressed the need to promote youth into leadership positions. Prof Sharma said that during his tenure, the focus was on futuristic development and exploring research areas ahead of time. India also witnessed an increase in the number of publications, start-ups and innovation programmes during this period.
