Malnutrition Among Children (E)
Malnutrition remains a serious problem all over the world. According to a report released recently by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund one third of the children under the age of 5 are malnourished due to the poor quality of their diets. In India the first ever Comprehensive National Nutrition Survey conducted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with the UNICEF and population council of India has also revealed some worrisome details about the overall health and nutrition of the children.
