Air pollution is becoming a bigger concern day by day as different pollutants present in the air are not only causing global warming, but also damaging our health. The foremost step in controlling such pollutants is the ability to detect them even when they are present in very small quantities. Now, scientists at the CSIR-National Physical Laboratory have managed to achieve just that regarding Nitrogen Dioxide, a toxic pollutant, which is known to trigger and aggravate respiratory disorders in humans.
