Crickets Acoustic-Signal Library (E)
Soon the chirping sounds of the crickets (insects) will be used to monitor the diversity of the species. Dr. Ranjana Jaiswara, a DST Inspire Faculty Fellow is working to establish a field crickets acoustic-signal library which can be used as a non-invasive tool to estimate the diversity of the species and also for the purpose of species monitoring.
