Scientists Have Discovered Dinosaur Embryo (E)
In a rare discovery, scientists have discovered a well-preserved dinosaur embryo inside a fossilised egg, though to be about 70-million-year-old.Discovered in the ate Cretaceous rocks of Ganzhou, southern China, it is claimed to be one of the best dinosaur embryos ever found in history. This dinosaur embryo has been named Baby Yingliang and according to palaeontologists from the University of Birmingham, it belongs to an Oviraptorosaur. Oviraptorosaurs were a group of feathered theropod dinosaurs, closely related to modern-day birds, known from the Cretaceous of Asia and North America.
