A New Way to Study Metastasis (E)
Researchers from the Bengaluru based Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research and Indian Institute of Science have found that the mechanism that helps active matter particles escape transformation to glass, can aid study of cancerous metastasis. For their experiment, researchers created an artificial active matter system using 3-D printed particles and studied the behaviour of their assemblies to understand the dynamics of the system.
