Smart Road Monitoring System (E)
Researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi have developed an innovative road monitoring system. The sensor-based smart monitoring system has been designed to reduce road accidents, especially on mountainous roads with many blind curves. Being mechanical in nature, the system can work in any weather, including rain, fog and other poor visibility conditions and will reduce human intervention in traffic management.
