VIKRAM-S Launch (E)
November 18, The country's first private rocket Vikram-Suborbital was launched from ISRO's Sriharikota Space Center. Vikram-S, named after the famous Indian scientist Vikram Sarabhai, is the maiden mission of Hyderabad-based space startup Skyroot Aerospace, named 'Prarambh'. The launch is a suborbital mission carrying two Indian and one foreign customer payloads by Vikram-S rocket. The Prarambh mission can be said to mark the beginning of a new era in space launch.
