Open-Source Satellite (E)

A 16-year-old student from Jammu, Onkar Singh Batra, has developed India’s first open-source orbital satellite. Onkar is known for his extraordinary talent, and has many innovative achievements to his credit because of his interest in science. Over the years, he has received several honours including the national Bal Shakti Puraskar for writing a book on theoretical science, and won accolades for being the youngest web developer.
