Satellite Enabled Device 'GEMINI (E)
A new portable device linked to ISRO satellites has been developed by the Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services, Hyderabad, to prevent any kind of communication loss with the deep-sea fishermen. The device named 'GEMINI' will receive and transmit information through the Gagan satellite system. Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan recently launched the device in New Delhi.
