“Going with the flow” We continue exploring the science of hydrology that powered a host of water structures in India in this episode of Building Blocks of Bharat. We start off with a journey through some stunning step wells in the arid regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan with a special focus on Rani Ki Vav in Gujarat and Chand Baori near Jaipur. We then explore lakes built by the Mauryas and travel to Bhopal to see the lake constructed there by Raja Bhoj. We then delve into some of the water conservation devices in Rajasthan - many of which are still in use!
