The Story of Neer: Oneer (E)
A large number of households in urban areas struggle to get safe and affordable water. With unflinching devotion to the cause of providing safe drinking water to the millions, the scientists at the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research at Lucknow under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research developed a technology for disinfecting water that promises to provide safe and clean drinking water at a mere cost of two paise per liter. This technology is entirely in tune with the Indian conditions and socio-economic setups.
