Indian scientists have developed a new tool to detect aquaculture pathogen. This diagnostic tool can detect white spot syndrome virus and will help boost the shrimp cultivation industry. Developed by the Agharkar Research Institute Pune, an autonomous institute under the Department of Science and Technology, this convenient diagnostic tool has recently been granted a patent.
