The Indus Angle - Building Blocks of Bharat Series (E)

In this episode we explore the city of Dholavira to understand the science inherent in the working of the Harappan civilization. The refinement of buildings and materials used reveals a high knowledge of civil engineering. Buildings were made of sun-dried mud bricks and stone and some of them stand in good condition even today. We showcase the geometry in the city plans with a special focus on ratio and proportions. Water management systems were advanced and we see how it shows a remarkable understanding of hydrology.
