Tools to Reduce Lead Pollution (E)
The increasing use of lead-acid batteries has given rise to lead pollution, which is known to harm the mental and physical health of the people, particularly the children. In a bid to find better ways to deal with the problem, researchers from IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras have jointly conducted a study to find appropriate policy tools to reduce Lead pollution. Several important points related to Lead recycling have been highlighted in this study.
