The Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council, an autonomous body of the Department of Science and Technology, is working to promote MSMEs and indigenous innovations under the SRIJAN scheme. The scheme is run in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India or SIDBI. Under this scheme, Pune based Plasma Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has upgraded its Robo Plasma Structural Cutting System, which will make various industries related to metal manufacturing more self-reliant. Here is a report.
