One-third of global food produced and 40% of India’s food production goes waste. Most of it ends up in landfils and contribute to mountains of garbage in cities. With decades of industry experience across waste management, consulting, and operations, Saket Dave formed Wastelink, with the vision and grit to solve this problem. They are making food waste management sustainable through their food-to-feed conversion technology. Wastelink solves the problem of commercial food waste by creating a circular economy solution that upcycles food surplus to animal feed. ₹50 lakhs was funded by Department of Science and Technology through NIDHI scheme to Wastelink.
