World Water Day - 2022 (E)
The goal of World Water Day is to spread awareness among masses, especially the two billion people across the globe, who are deprived of water. World Water Day reinforces the Sustainable Development Goal to provide water and sanitation to all by 2030. And every year a central theme is chosen for World Water Day. The theme of 2022 World Water Day is ""Groundwater - Let's make the invisible visible"". Most of the world's arid regions are completely dependent on groundwater. Over-exploitation of groundwater can lead to many serious problems. And as such, the areas where groundwater has been over-exploited need to be recharged with rainwater. Groundwater does not limit itself to human-devised national boundaries. Therefore, the whole world needs to come together to work as one for groundwater management.
