Swachh- Sagar Surakshit Sagar Campaign Completion (E)
Swach- Sagar Surakshit sagar campaign from 5th July to 17 September, which is the International Coastal Clean-up Day. However, the success of this campaign can be measured by the fact that it successfully connected with a large part of the population. The goal of the campaign was to remove 1500 tonnes of garbage from the Indian coasts. For this several clean-up campaigns as well as public awareness activities were organized. These included administering the Coast Protection, Pledge to school children, several painting competitions, and walkathons.
