Self-Propelled Railway Track Scavenging Vehicle (E)
Researchers from the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research in Bhopal, have developed a multifunctional railway track scavenging vehicle with the support of the Department of Science and Technology, GOI. The state-of-the-art vehicle has been designed to carry out the automatic cleaning of the railway track.. and may soon eliminate the practice of manual scavenging. The innovation will also strengthen Swachh Bharat Swachh Rail Mission of the Indian Railways.
