Seismological Observatory Inaugurated at Udhampur (E)
The Union Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated the Seismological Observatory in his parliamentary constituency, Udhampur, this week. The Udhampur observatory, set up by the National Centre for Seismology of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, will record data related to the internal movements of the earth’s crust and make the data available to various seismic stations around the world.
