Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh held a meeting with Parshottam Rupala, the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying on 21st September, and proposed Integrated Aroma-Dairy Entrepreneurship for Jammu and Kashmir to augment the income of the farmers. The union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has an abundant stock of animal husbandry and dairy resources…and Aroma Mission was also launched here with the efforts of CSIR-IIIM Jammu. The mission, also known as the ‘ Lavender or Purple Revolution’ has trained farmers to grow lavender and extract lavender oil.
