New Technology Platform To Detect SARS-CoV-2 (E)
Scientists have developed a new technology platform to detect SARS-CoV-2 by Fluorescence readout. Scientists from the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, which is an autonomous institute of the Department of science and technology, in collaboration with scientists from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, have demonstrated a non-canonicalnucleic acid based GQ-RCP platform that can detect pathogens such as viruses by measuring the fluorescent light emitted by them.
