New Laboratories to Facilitate Testing for COVID Vaccines (E)
Keeping in view the need to increase production of COVID vaccines, the Government of India has decided to set up additional laboratories to facilitate testing and pre-release certification of the vaccines. As part of this, vaccine testing facilities in the form of Central Drug Laboratories have been established at the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune, and the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
