Nano robots will improve the success rate of root canal treatments. Researchers from the Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Science and its incubated startup. Theranautilus have designed nano-sized robots which can be controlled using a device that generates a low-intensity magnetic field. Made of silicon dioxide coated with iron, these Nano robots can be used to kill bacteria inside microscopic canals in the tooth during the root canal procedure.
