Latest State-Of-The-Art Transmission Electron Microscopy Facility (E)
On the occasion of National Science Day, the Union Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh inaugurated the world's latest state-of-the-art Transmission Electron Microscopy Facility at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. The facility, funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, will enable Indian researchers to be at the forefront of various research. It should be noted that the Govt. of India’s Department of Science and Technology is supporting this institute to improve its science and technology infrastructure as well as research capacity., through schemes like DST-FIST, DST-PURSE and DST-CSRI. Speaking on the occasion, the union minister stated that the pandemic has taught us the virtues of holistic healthcare… and stressed upon institutionalizing an integrated medicinal approach for adequate treatment and prevention of various diseases.
