Infosys Prize – 2022 (E) IIT Kharagpur Professor Suman Chakraborty and his team have recently been awarded the Infosys Prize for developing affordable diagnostic techniques for remote and resource-deficit areas. These include Covirap, a nucleic-acid based rapid diagnostic test for the detection of infectious diseases.
