Indo-Finnish Virtual Network Centre on Quantum Computing (E)

India and Finland have drawn up a detailed plan to set up the Indo-Finnish Virtual Network Centre on Quantum Computing. A delegation led by the Ambassador of Finland met Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Government of India, recently in this regard. India has already identified three premier institutes - IIT Madras, IISER Pune and C-DAC Pune - that will work in collaboration with equivalent Finnish institutions for the Virtual network Centre. The meeting also reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation in areas such as 5G, artificial intelligence and sustainability.
