IITH - Telescope (E)
Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad has established a large telescope facility designed for outreach programmes. With the launch of this large telescope facility, professional astronomical activities will be encouraged and amateur people interested in astronomy will also be facilitated. The telescope has a huge mirror with an optical diameter of 355 mm and a focal length of 1650 mm. Along with a Crayford focuser and truss tube design, the telescope will be able to observe dark skies and blurry objects.
