Human-Based Models To Study Neuro Developmental Disorders (E)

A research group led by an Inspire Faculty Fellow has developed Human-based Neural Stem Cell model to better understand the development of human brain as well as the disorders associated with it. A protocol has been established for the first time in India by generating and producing Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells from human peripheral blood and then differentiating them into neural stem cells. This exceptional development will surely open new avenues for treatment strategies related to neuro developmental disorders.
