Researchers are witnessing the formation of dwarf galaxies using India's first dedicated multi-wavelength space telescope, AstroSat. In a recent study, scientists have found that the star-forming clusters in the outer region of dwarf galaxies migrate towards the central region of the galaxy and increase its mass and brightness. The discovery was made by an international research team led by the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics. Here is a Science Monitor report.
