Electron Bubble in Super Fluid Helium (E)

Scientists at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore have experimentally shown for the first time the existence of two species of ‘few electron bubble’ (FEBs) in super fluid Helium. In the ultra-liquid form of helium, when an electron is injected, it forms a single electron bubble (SEB), a cavity that is free of Helium atoms and contains only electrons. On the other hand, FEBs are nanometer-sized cavities in liquid helium, containing only a few free electrons.
