The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institute located at Jakkur, Bangalore. Banglor based Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) was established by the Department of Science and Technology in order to pursue and promote world-class scientific research. Established on the birth centenary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1989 with Professor C.N.R.Rao as the founding president, it was recognized as a deemed-to-be-university by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2002. Equipped with the best faculty, students, state-of-the-art experimental, computational and infrastructural facilities, architecturally innovative buildings and lush greenery, JNCASR is committed to its mission of delivering world-leading research and education in the field of science and engineering.
