CSIR-CMERI Mechanised Sewage Cleaning System (E)
Durgapur based CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute has successfully developed a Mechanized Scavenging System for sewerage maintenance. This indigenously developed vehicle-mounted system is equipped with several useful features to make the process of sewer cleaning less risky and more efficient. The system was recently demonstrated in New Delhi at the premises of the CSIR-National Physical Laboratory.
