Compostable Plastic (E)
The Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh recently approved a Start Up loan for manufacturing and commercialising “compostable” plastic. For this the Technology Development Board has signed an MoU with a startup based in Satara, Maharashtra, TGP Bioplastics Pvt Ltd. TGP Bioplastics has developed a compostable plastic material as an environment friendly alternative to single use plastics.
