According to the observations of a recent study conducted by the researchers of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and IIT Kanpur, there may be a connection between forest fires and the incidents of cloudbursts. The study was conducted to measure the activation of Cloud Condensation Nuclei to understand its impact on the local weather phenomena in the central Himalayan region
