Bio-Organic Battteries (E)
A Bhubaneswar-based company, Nexus, has launched bio-organic and bio-degradable batteries. Bio-organic battery was developed by using proteins from crop residue. This battery has a higher capacity and also charges faster compared to existing Lithium ion batteries, which can significantly increase the use of electric vehicles even for long distances.
