Air Purification Technology (E)
A Bengaluru-based startup called Biomoneta has developed an air purification technology that kills disease-causing pathogens present in the air with more than 99 percent efficiency in closed spaces. The technology, named ZeBox, is funded by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council of the Department of Biotechnology. The startup had already secured a validation analysis from IISc Bangalore, where the device was tested on actual SARS-COV-2 viruses.
