The Union Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr. Jitendra Singh recently visited the National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting. This world class institute is a Centre of Excellence in Weather and Climate Modelling, located in Noida. The institute under the Meteorological Department is one of 11-12 centers in the world working in this field.
